What Will Online Training Include?
Calm Haven VR is developing a networked training environment designed to connect instructors and participants from different locations worldwide. Participants will be able to join shared maritime training and simulation sessions, interact within the same virtual environment and work together on practical training scenarios.
The online infrastructure is currently under development and will become part of the Calm Haven VR training ecosystem as the platform evolves.
A Shared Maritime Training Environment
Our goal is to create a networked environment where instructors and participants can connect remotely and take part in shared maritime training sessions, regardless of their physical location.
Planned Feature
Remote Participation
Connect instructors and participants from different locations and bring them together in the same virtual training environment.
Planned Feature
Collaborative Training
Take part in shared scenarios where participants can interact, communicate and work together on maritime tasks and operational situations.
Planned Feature
Instructor-Led Sessions
Enable instructors to guide training sessions, introduce scenarios and observe participant actions within a shared virtual environment.
Training Beyond Physical Location
Maritime professionals, instructors and trainees are often located in different cities or countries. A networked VR environment can provide an opportunity to bring participants together for shared training without requiring them to be in the same physical training facility.
Our goal is to integrate networked capabilities with Calm Haven VR's Part-Task training approach, allowing participants to practise, communicate and analyse operational situations together.
Built for Instructors and Participants
The planned online environment is designed to support both instructor-led and collaborative training. Instructors will be able to manage training scenarios, while participants connect to the shared environment and perform assigned tasks from different locations.
